Smart riders know that navigating the streets and byways of Southern California takes more than self-taught riding skills and tips from family and friends. Enhance your riding skills with an OC Motorcycle Training (OCMT) training course. OCMT offers the Basic RiderCourse (BRC) as well as Experienced RiderCourse (ERC) for those with more riding experience.

The BRC is aimed for beginning riders. The course begins with a classroom session which prepares the student for the practical riding sessions that are conducted in a controlled, off-street environment. Motorcycles and helmets are  provided by OCMT.  Please feel free to take a look at our fleet of bikes.   If you successfully complete our state-approved training course, you will be issued the California State Motorcycle Training Certificate (DL389) allowing you to waive the on-motorcycle examination at the DMV.

The ERC is designed for the intermediate to advanced rider who is looking to hone their skills and fine-tune the mental skills needed for survival in traffic. Using your own motorcycle, you'll put into practice the techniques of managing traction, stopping quickly, cornering and swerving. Please call us at 714-637-2355 for ERC availability. Online enrollment for the ERC course is not available at this time.

M&M Motorcycle Training is endorsed by the California Motorcyclist Safety Program (CMSP) and the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF). As of July 1, 2001, more than 200,000 motorcycle riders have been trained by the program's California Motorcycle Training network. The program began operating publicly in July 1987. Since 1986, the number of annual motorcycle fatalities has dropped over 70 percent, and motorcycle crashes have also declined more than 70 percent. The CMSP is designed to increase motorcycle safety on California's streets and highways. The program accomplishes these tasks by; (1) providing motorcycle training courses for both novice and experienced riders, and (2) increasing public awareness of motorcyclists on the road.
